Mayfair Flagship Store Opening Carat London

Introducing Carat* London’s new flagship store in the heart of Mayfair.

We were invited to this prestige jewellery brand’s soft launch to film their beautiful new collections and invited influencers’ reactions to the new store and collection.

Our two-day shoot would also be used to harvest a huge bank of macro close up footage of Carat’s stunning jewellery collection including rings, necklaces and earrings being worn by a model for Carat* London’s e-commerce platforms. We would set up a temporary studio on location, upstairs above the main store showroom and film a total of 130 individual pieces, delivering hundreds of individual video clips of their pieces for distribution on their own website as well as partner retailers’ sites and social media.


Carat* London needed a master store opening highlights video formatted and optimised for web and social channels as well as a collection of “drag-and-drop” studio close up clips of over one hundred individual pieces to feature on their website, e-commerce platforms and digital press packs for distribution to industry magazines promoting their collections.

The top priorities for the Carat* London marketing team were:

  1. Quality of footage.
  2. Expertise in filming high-end jewellery macro close ups.
  3. All the equipment needed to construct a temporary onsite product studio
  4. Experience in conducting candid, effective interviews with high-profile social media influencers.
